                                           YOUNGEN FIRE HOOD

DESCRIPTION

       With the development of technology and economy, human usually save space on the decoration of building. These phenomenon leads to downlights are becoming more and more popular to be used in commercial and residential buildings. The Youngen fire hoods have been developed to provide maximum protection for the holes creaded by all sizes of downlights.

        In a fire situation, the Youngen fire hood expands internally to fill all the available space, with a highly fire resistant insulating char. So the fire can not penetrate the hole and the hood is able to give additional insulation protection to the ceiling void by reducing the chance of heat build-up and the ignition of flammables, such as accumulated dust and insulation. 

       The Youngen fire hood is easy to insert into the ceiling from the hole made by downlights. This fire hood is low density, high flexibility and good intensity, and can be used on different of ceilings, such as suspended plasterboard or concrete ceilings with wide range of voltage downlights. This fire hood also can be installed low or above the ceilings.

       Youngen fire hood have been assessed for the suspended ceiling and timber, steel or concrete Beam/Joist protected by plasterboard. Youngen fire hood have fully tested in accordance with AS 1530.Part 4-2005 <Methods for fire tests on building materials, components and structures> and gotten three CSIRO Certificates: 

 Certificate of Test No.2060:  150mm (Youngen S)

 Certificate of Test No.2061:  200mm (Youngen M)

 Certificate of Test No.2062:  250mm (Youngen L).
