                                     YOUNGEN  SUPERFIX-6L  TILE ADHESIVE

DESCRIPTION

      YOUNGEN Superfix-6L is a kind of premiumready-to-use  and rubber modified wall and floor tile adhesive. With high flexibility and slip resistance,  superfix-6L is applicable to the indoor and outdoor affixing of most ceramic tiles, slates, mosaic and fully vitrified enamels including large size wall tiles and stones such as marble and granite .Superfix-6L is also suitable for many different bases, such as smooth metal, rough fiber-cement plate, concrete and plasterboard.

      YOUNGEN Superfix-6L has been tested by AS4992-2006 <Ceramic tiles Grouts and adhesives> and it fully meets the requirements of <Normal Adhesives D1>.

Uses

1. A total minimum coverage of 2Kg /m2 is recommended when using a 6×6×6mm notched trowel. Coverage will vary depending on substrate conditions and application technique.

2. Approximately 24h at 23 and 50% relative humidity. Allow longer for dense tiles/substrate , humid climates and low temperatures.

3. Surface must be consistently flat and firmly. Clean off dust, oil, grease and all loose contaminating material. Ensure surfaces are dry before tiling, with no residue or permanent damp.

4. Before fixing tiles, ensure the back of the tiles are free from dust. As a guide use a 6×6×6mm  trowel to spread the adhesive, ensure it does not skin prior to bedding the tiles. Press and slide the tile at right angles to the notch pattern to ensure 100% coverage on the back of the tile. Any surplus adhesive must be removed from the surface of the tile and joints, before the adhesive sets. Allow to dry before grouting.
