YOUNGEN Fire Collars are designed to maintain the fire resistance of fire rated walls & floors where they are penetrated by plastic pipes.

      They consist of a stainless steel shell which contains a heat reactive graphite based intumescent material. Each collar is fastened to the wall using the integral "fixing lugs" at the base of the unit.

        YOUNGEN Fire Collars are suitable for use on UPVC, polypropylene, HDPE, and ABS plastic pipes for both wall and floor penetrations.

Installation Instructions

      YONGEN fire collar can be surface mounted, or they can be cast in or semi-cast in when fixing space is limited.

WALL FIXING:

       where there is a fire risk on both sides of a wall, or the direction of fire risk has not been determined, then an YOUNGEN Fire Collar should be fittd to both sides of the wall.

     Penetrations through floors require a YOUNGEN fire collar fitted to the underside only of each penetration.
